    History: Bill was a pretty normal kid with a pretty normal life. His parents, Martha and George, had good jobs. His kid brother, Seth, annoyed the crap out of him. Yep, life was safe and dull. until... one day, as a Freshman in high school, he started experiencing great pains and having convulsions. He remembers heading up to the head nurse's office. He stepped into the hall. In a rush, he started to jog. But instead of jogging, it was like he LAUNCHED! He sailed down the hall, smashing through the front door. Cut and bruised, he kept moving. Then, as he headed out into the street, the bus hit him. After that, just flashes, people gathered round, hospitals, darkness, flashing blades, blood...

    He woke up in a hospital a few days ago. The staff told him that someone had dropped him off in a coma-like state. He'd been lost for seven years.

    Trying to catch up and remember, he found his old home sold, found his parents' graves (car accident), but could find no trace of his brother. He discovered his powers and decided to put them to good use, helping people. And maybe someone could help him find his brother. His powers seemed much easier to control than they were seven years ago. No disaster this time.

    About a month ago, he ran into a blue-skinned alien named Mithras. The two had quite a bit in common. Both wanted to help people, both were despised, or at least disliked because of their heritage (alien and mutant). They, more or less, figured they could do better together than alone.


    Abilities & Resources: His mutant powers allow him to run about 200 mph without much effort. He can crank it up for a short time, but it's rough on him (still no sonic booms yet). He can transform his body to be harder than steel, with no visible effect. It seems that he can transform parts of his body at a time, instead of all at once. Bill was always a tech-head. He was also a big fine of the sciences.

    Somehow, his skills in stealth seem to be well beyond anyone he's ever met or seen. Additionally, he's quite comfortable with weapons, from guns, to blades, to nunchaku. These skills seem to have appeared when he awakened. It makes him wonder what he's been doing for the last seven years. And who he might have angered.
